Budapest was allied with Nazi Germany, so Hungary was attacked by an ally than being attacked by another country, which most countries were. I discovered that the boy in Budapest in 1944 was smiling like my sister and me, not exactly knowing what was happening around him. I thought that kids were kids, no matter what was going around them. I chose this picture because I was about the same age as the boy from Budapest, so it would be easier to compare. We both seem like we are having a good time, and happy. The difference is that the boy in Budapest was living in a middle of a war, while I am on vacation.
Ayana, this is a good comparison and good photo selection, although you need to go more in depth on the analysis for full credit. Please revisit the Pilot post from last Thursday for all the questions you need to answer about the place where the photo you've found was taken and email when you have revised this.
